At Christmas time, we adopted 57 families who needed a little extra help to make the season joyous.  Numerous groups and individuals adopted a family and helped fill their particular needs and wishes, while SCMFO completed the process for all those who did not have an individual sponsor.

San Onofre School Donations

Instead of giving away Easter baskets, SCMFO decide to help all the children at the North end of Camp Pendleton by supplying each of the classrooms at the San Onofre School (K-8) with needed materials.  Each teacher submits a wish list of materials, project supplies, or specialized equipment they could use in their classes, and we try to fulfill those wishes.  This is truly a community effort with numerous civic and church groups “adopting” a class and helping to support the students with these special gifts.  We distribute them early in spring, just as many of the regular supplies start running low.
