Year-around 24/7

The main thrust is to meet emergency needs of military families, whenever and 

wherever they occur, bridging the gap with thousands of dollars for food, diapers,

formula, infant clothing, gas, car repair and other unexpected expenses. 

Other Morale projects

The Outreach actively  sponsors or supports showers for expectant mothers and works

with other charities to continually promote the welfare of north Camp Pendleton families.

April

SCMFO typically polls teachers at the on-base San Onofre school

and provides and delivers critically needed school supplies to 32 classrooms.

 August

Launching of annual fundraising mail campaign to fund Fall/Winter programs.

October

On October 27, 2012, SCMFO will put on its 5th annual Variety Show fundraiser to

aid in funding the Thanksgiving turkey distribution to over 1,000 families. 

November 19: 

More than a thousand low income families receive turkeys and all the fixings of

the traditional thanksgiving dinner at an on-base distribution and can prepare

the meal in the privacy of their own homes.

December 1-15: 

 A "Thank a Family" program matches families in need with donors

who help with Christmas trees, gifts, food and clothing.
